Highly sought-after skills:
- Full-stack development experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience building scalable Internet applications
- Experience creating well-designed, reusable code on a reliable schedule
- Understand the benefits of the various design methodologies, functional, and object-oriented environments
- Ability to multitask between projects if required
- Prior experience in one or more of the following
- NodeJS, Angular, React, PHP, Flutter/Dart, .NET, SQL (Postgres, MySQL or SQL Server), Docker, Linux
Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of existing projects.
- Participate in design discussions.
- Researching, designing, and implementing software solutions.
- Writing and implementing efficient code.

THE PERSON
The successful applicant is ready to utilise their experience in a newly created senior leadership role. This new role is an opportunity to help guide Bitplex through the next stage of growth. Ideally, they will have experience in working with external stakeholders of all multiple-sized projects, have been involved in the creation of scoping documents and leading a team of developers through to project completion.

THE ROLE
Roles & Responsibilities
Below is a list of some of the responsibilities that you will oversee on some projects and take charge of others. It is about sharing your experience with the team.
- Continual integration management
- Code review
- Project architecture
- Team development and skill transfer
- Development
- Sprint planning and review
Required Skills
Ideally, you would have experience in/with:
- Front-end and/or back-end development (preferably Angular or C#)
- Unit Testing
- Docker Containers and/or Kubernetes
- Modern software engineering methodologies such as DevOps, Continuous Delivery and UX
- Java/.NET API development (desirable)
- All aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, estimation, design, development, quality assurance, support, maintenance, and optimisation tasks
- The skills to investigate, learn and pass on knowledge.
