We are a leading technology company, we are currently expanding our team and seeking a talented Mid-Level .Net Developer to join us in a full-time remote position within Australia.

Role Overview

As a Mid-Level Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our client’s suite of software applications. You will primarily focus on backend development using C#, Microsoft SQL (T-SQL), .NET Core, and ASP.NET Framework MVC. Your expertise in Microsoft WinForms and Git will be essential, as well as your ability to collaborate effectively using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust backend solutions using C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL (T-SQL).
  • Enhance and maintain existing Microsoft WinForms applications.
  • Implement and optimize features in ASP.NET Framework MVC web applications.
  • Utilize Git for version control and participate actively in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing and integration testing practices.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and procedures using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

 

Skills and Experience preferred

  • More than 5 years of professional experience with C# development, using Git for version control in software projects.
  • More than 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL (T-SQL) for database design and optimization, and more than 2 years of experience with Microsoft WinForms for desktop application development.
  • More than 2 years of experience with Microsoft ASP.NET Framework MVC for web application development, Microsoft .NET Core for backend services
  • More than 2 years of experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
  • Experience with .NET Blazor will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, the capability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Legacy Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification is highly regarded.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
